SUGGESTIONS TO MAKE A SUCCESSFUL BOOKING

  • Choose the right holiday destination.
  • Choose the appropriate holiday home.
  • A recommendation from a trusted aquaintance is usually the best option.
  • If dealing with a private owner of your desired holiday accommodation, always ask for recommendations from a reliable source, such as the caravan site to which the caravan belongs to, or a business that the caravan owner has dealings with. Ask for phone numbers and then check to see if they are genuine. Always be cautious of accepting a mobile phone number for a recommendation off a business or company. Of course, this does not mean any fraud is taking place, but once again, if in doubt, then refer to recommendations from a reliable source.
  • If possible, ask for a land line number that you can contact the owners of your holiday accommodation on. Keep the number safe for future reference and then call up to confirm all your details. Guest houses and hotels will always have a land line phone, so once again, always be cautious if you are only given a mobile number.
  • If giving credit/debit card details over the phone or over the Internet, be sure to make certain who you're giving them to. Make the relevant checks beforehand by checking links from other sites.
